What leaders usually need
Business leaders rarely need to build models. They need to understand what AI can and cannot do, how to govern it, and how to lead teams and decisions. Programs in this space are usually called executive education, AI strategy or AI for business.
What to compare
- Content. Strategy, governance, risk, product and change management, rather than coding.
- Format. Short, part-time and online formats suit working professionals; check the time commitment.
- Credential. Executive education certificates are usually completion certificates, not degrees.
- Faculty and projects. Look for named instructors and practical work.
- Cost. Compare total program price, not a teaser price.
Governance and risk
Frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and regulations such as the EU AI Act are common reference points in governance-focused programs. A program that mentions them should say what it covers.
