Many meanings of free
- Free access. Course content is free to take.
- Free audit. You can view materials without a graded credential.
- Free learning with a paid certificate. Learning is free, certification costs money.
- Entirely free credential. Both learning and credential are free.
- Financial aid. A paid course with an application for aid; it is not free.
- Temporary promotion. Free for a limited time.
- Free trial. A trial before payment; not a free program.
What to check
Read the cost terms on the official page, the date of any promotion, and whether the credential you want is included. A monthly subscription is not the total cost of a program, so estimate how long you will need.
Our labels
On the Free AI Courses page, each course states exactly what is free. We do not list free trials or financial aid as free programs.
