Treat claims as claims
Placement rates, salary figures and employer logos are the provider's statements. They are not verified by this directory. We do not publish employment statistics unless the provider documents them.
Questions to ask
- Metric and definition. What exactly counts as "placed"? Does it include part-time or unrelated work?
- Period and cohort. Which graduates, over which time frame, and how many?
- Method. Is the data audited by a third party?
- Denominator. Are graduates who did not complete or did not respond counted?
- Curriculum and projects. Is there a published syllabus, projects and assessment?
- Support and cost. What help is offered, and what is the total cost, including any income-share terms?
- Credential issuer. Who issues the certificate, and is it academic or a completion certificate?
Be cautious with
Guarantees, vague numbers without a date, or pressure to enrol quickly. A bootcamp is not a university, and its certificate is not an academic qualification.
