Qualification systems differ
A bachelor's degree takes three years in some systems and four in others. Master's degrees can be one or two years. Frameworks such as the European Qualifications Framework and the UK's FHEQ describe levels, but a level does not make two national awards equivalent.
Language
Many AI programs outside English-speaking countries are taught in English, and others in the local language. The program page should state the teaching language; this directory lists it for every program and lets you filter by it.
Admissions and eligibility
Check application deadlines, entry requirements for international applicants, language tests and any restrictions on online enrolment by country or state. Dates change every year, so use the program page.
Visas and work rights
Rules change. Use the official government and institution pages for the country concerned, and do not rely on a directory for visa advice.
Costs
Tuition for international students can differ from domestic tuition. Add living costs, health cover and travel.
